BN Security & Defence Mobile Surveillance Unit Shortlisted for 2014 ADS Security Innovation Award

Our client BN Security & Defence has been shortlisted in this year’s ADS Security Innovation Award for their latest mobile police surveillance solution.

Now in its 11th year, the prestigious award recognises not only the innovative equipment and technology produced by UK companies, but equally importantly, the partnership between people on the ground and those prepared to put the time and skill behind the development and production of new and ground breaking technology.

The BN S&D solution shortlisted is a hi-tech ruggedized fast-response mobile police surveillance vehicle, custom-built in collaboration with the Dutch Police to support effective crowd monitoring and control.  It features unique camera technology with digital camera-stitching to deliver HD 360-degree panoramic video images and GPS-position for pin-point accurate evidence capture.  The unit is able to record and share real-time audio and video evidence in the most testing of environments and can run autonomously for up to 48-hours.
