BN S&D to showcase mobile cyber crime-fighting & incident investigation solutions at Security & Policing 2015 (Stand X10)

K: BN Security & Defence, provider of bespoke integrated technology solutions, will once again exhibit at The UK Home Office Security & Policing event, which takes place from 10-12 March at Farnborough’s FIVE.
Home Office Security & Policing 2015 provides an exclusive platform for professionals from across the world to engage with the very highest level of security expertise. It is aimed at police, law enforcement and security professionals who are tasked with security, civil protection and National Resilience. The event showcases world leading products and services, taking advantage of the unique opportunity to bring together people with operational needs with companies that have the relevant solutions, all within a secure environment.
This year, BN Security & Defence will be using the event to present its specialist integration capabilities through a range of bespoke designs and applied technologies that tackle the problems of responding to civil unrest, physical, terrorist and cyber threats, natural disasters and critical incidents.
Their showcase on Stand X10 in the outdoor exhibit area will include demonstrations of cutting-edge software, high-end camera technologies and custom-built vehicles for a range of applications:
Mobile covert cyber crime-fighting:
BN Security & Defence, in partnership with cyber security specialists PGI, will present a cyber crime-fighting vehicle designed for covert rapid-response cyber investigations, digital forensics and on-location penetration testing. The solution, custom-built and integrated by BN Security & Defence, provides C2 mobile facilities with the ground-breaking social media intelligence gathering capability of PGI’s mi:fusion OSINT software platform. mi:fusion is the first complete solution for real-time digital analysis of global social media and other Open Source Intelligence.
Situational Awareness Analysis Solutions:
BN Security & Defence will be demonstrating IRIS (Investigation of Road Incidents System), an integrated hardware and software platform that allows Police forces to quickly and accurately capture and analyse evidence at road traffic incident scenes. The system’s powerful suite of tools and easy-to-use 360-degree video capture system provides rich information and significantly reduces investigation times and costs. The team will be on-hand to explain how IRIS has been successfully deployed by police forces across the Netherlands.
Mobile Command and Control Centre for UAV operations:
Visitors to the show will also be able to see a mobile ground Command and Control centre for UAV Operations, developed and custom-built by BN Security & Defence for the University of Southampton’s Autonomous Systems Research Group. The project, which was partly funded by the EU’s Maritime Incident Group and involved the delivery of two bespoke vehicles, called upon the team’s software integration expertise, system design and in-house coach-build capabilities. Representatives from the University will be available on Stand X10 to demonstrate the system and provide a tour of the vehicle’s capabilities.
