BN Security & Defence demonstrate mobile solutions to support remote influence campaigns & military operations.  Stand SP28, DVD 2014, 25-26 June, Millbrook.

BN Security & Defence (BN S&D), specialist in custom-built mobile systems and vehicles, will make its debut at this year’s DVD show demonstrating solutions that harness technology used by international broadcasters to bring the digital edge to a range of military operations. Visitors to stand SP28 will see how leading-edge hardware, COTS and bespoke software can be cost-effectively and innovatively integrated into mobile systems to deliver remote influence campaigns, surveillance and covert communications.

“In today’s digital society, where information is available 24/7, maintaining open communication channels is increasingly important. The capability to mount effective remote influence operations is a key element of contemporary military campaigning, whether upstream conflict prevention or part of time-sensitive post-conflict reconstruction efforts,” commented Tom Haye, Managing Director, BN Security & Defence. “Our bespoke vehicles and portable technology enable TV, radio services and social media activity to be monitored and delivered from a single mobile unit in any location - helping the Army of 2020 to rapidly deploy effective influence campaigns into conflict zones.”

At the event, BN S&D will showcase a compact and modular flight-case solution for easily deployed TV and radio production in remote influence campaigns and demonstrate how it supports a full-scale powerful broadcast production workflow, more typically delivered from a professional OB production unit, which will also be exhibited and available for tour at the event.   Within the 16m truck, visitors will experience BN S&D’s new CCHQ software platform that enables operators to pre–configure and automate the control of core tasks from a single screen, delivering full operational control even in high conflict situations. Already adopted by government and security agencies, the CCHQ platform will enable effective operational performance with minimal and unskilled support.

Looking at the wider covert communications strategy, visitors can also view our Multi-terrain vehicles, which provide down and up-link support for covert communications, manned and unmanned surveillance operations.

“As pressure mounts on budget and resources become increasingly stretched, mobile broadcast solutions are more applicable that ever before to the influencing challenging. Our broadcast heritage and solution design expertise  ensure we have the specialist skillset required to deliver the right technology at the right price to support a remote communications strategy,” concluded Haye.
